SpringCleaningWeekend Immersion June 12 - 14th, 2020
This event is open to Women only and is an intimate gathering; space is limited so please book early.
Late spring is the perfect time to give yourself a deeper cleansing to make way for the abundance of enjoyment that summer will bring. Spring Cleaning weekend is a mind, body and soul purifying experience celebrating the yoga of death and rebirth, giving and receiving, letting go to manifest new beginnings: beginner-friendly yoga classes (hatha, vinyasa, yin, ashtanga & restorative); intro to Ayurveda and its cleansing practices with focus on the shift to hot season with seasonal, plant-based cleansing meal options (vegan smoothies, bowls and snacks or vegan juice cleanse options); Saturday silent retreat day for self-reflection, journaling, nature walks, music and dance and more.
Tuition Cost (inclusive of all workshops, activities & 2 days worth of meals): $333
Overnight Accommodations are optional. Costs start at $99 (for 2 nights; for a shared room; private room avail for additional cost).

Extended stays are welcome at the accommodations rate above (no meals provided during the extended portion of your stay). The airbnb suite (1 room/ 1 bath) is private to yoga retreat guests and is located directly beneath the studio. Guests have use of the studio as pre-arranged/ scheduled, free classes during class times, and rental use of our library of books. Art supplies, river sports rentals, private coaching, spiritual healing services and massage are available add-ons regardless of whether you stay overnight with us.
Meals are mandatory all-inclusive for this is Ayurvedic doshic-friendly, cleansing weekend and begin with dinner Friday. Meals will be catered by Juice Laundry https://www.thejuicelaundry.com/about/locations/river-road. The 2-day juice cleanse is recommended; however, there are solid food options as well. Meals and snacks provided are vegan; please bring any additional snacks you may need. You will be asked to provide your meal preferences after registering and at least 3 days prior to the start of the event.
Itinerary
Friday:
5pm checkin for overnight guests, 5:30pm checkin other for event guests
6 - 7:30 pm Beginner-friendly Yin & gentle yoga (We will get our yang on Saturday!)
Includes a fire meditation and ritual at the end of class.
7:30 - 8pm light dinner
8 - 9pm drum & song circle (around fire pit if weather permits; all instruments welcome! and some provided)
Saturday: Silent Retreat Day
7:30 - 9am Grounding Hatha yoga and meditation
9:30 - 10:15am breakfast
10:30am - noon Nature Walk with journaling/ creative writing (Please bring rain jacket & natural bug repellant just in case)
12 - 1pm Beginner-friendly Vinyasa
1 - 4pm lunch and free time to enjoy personal time in the studio or meditation patio, reading, writing or arts/crafts options with materials supplied; massage appointments and/or river sports rentals available at additional cost from other local service providers
4 - 5:30pm Intro to Ayurveda, yoga's sister science, doshas & cleansing & yoga practices
6 - 7:30pm Ayurvedic Yoga Asana Instruction (an Ayurvedic instructional asana yoga class)
7:30 - 8pm light dinner
8-9pm Ecstatic dance party
Sunday:
7:30 - 9am Fire Meditation Ritual & Beginner-friendly Ashtanga (Sun Salutations) yoga
9:30 - 10:15am breakfast
10:30am - noon Nature Walk with journaling/ creative writing (Please bring rain jacket & natural bug repellant just in case)
12 - 1pm Combination Grounding & Stability Eagle Guided Yoga Sequence with Vinyasa
1 - 2pm lunch time
2 - 3:30pm Vision board guided meditation followed by an optional inspirational sharing circle
4 - 5pm Restorative yoga
